USSD Virtual Annual Conference

Safety, Security, and Emergency Response in the 21st Century
Eligible for up to 38 PDHs and or 3.8 CEUs
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic and continued travel restrictions, the USSD annual conference is going virtual.
Scheduled over a two-week period, the conference will be a combination of live-streaming and recorded on-demand sessions. This provides attendees the ability to view more technical sessions than they would if attending in person.
This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Centers and Pentagon. While no dams or levees were compromised during the attacks, the event resulted in large changes in the approach to infrastructure security nationwide.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL AUTHORS/PRESENTERS
- All authors/presenters must upload a form to Speaker Resource Center confirming your intention to participate in the conference and granting USSD permission to publish and distribute your paper/expanded abstract and/or presentation.
- Review comments were emailed to authors in early February 2021.
- Final papers or expanded abstracts must be uploaded by March 14, 2021.
- All presenters must submit their draft and final PowerPoint presentations to session moderators during April 10, 2021.
All agreements and final papers/expanded abstracts may be uploaded to your Cvent Speaker Resource Center portal.
All presenters will be expected to attend the Conference and pay the reduced registration fee offered to presenters.
